Bear Crashes Clermont Home, Leaves Without Injuries
CLERMONT, FL – Homeowners in Clermont had an unexpected and unwelcome visitor overnight when a bear entered a local home through a screen door. The incident took place just after 2 a.m. on Via Montevideo.
The homeowner, who was baking cookies at the time, was quick to respond and called the police. Fortunately, neither the homeowner nor the bear was injured during the unusual encounter. The bear made its exit through another screen door shortly after entering.
